DESCRIPTION:Gorilla Finger Dub\nA Tribute to Bob Marley\n+ DJ Host Green Lion Crew\nSunday\, August 8 | 7:30PM\nAdvanced Tickets Online – $12\nDay of Show – $15 at the door (cash only) \nDoors  7:30PM  |  Reggae DJ  7:30PM  |  Headliner 8:30PM \nAbout Gorilla Finger Dub\n \nThe idea of Gorilla Finger Dub sparked in the mind of Eric Dudevoir (bass) when he heard Chris Boivin (lead vocals\, guitar) busking in the streets of downtown Portland\, Maine. \nThe idea started off as a weekly musical gathering of like-minded locals\, and once each band member emerged and settled into their roles\, the idea evolved into the band: Chris and Eric welcomed Samuel Belanger (drums\, vocals)\, Steve Martin (lead guitar)\, Robbie Cooper (keys)\, and Mike Rice (percussion) into the collective. \nAfter recording their debut album Cool It Down in 2011\, the band hit the northeast regional scene showcasing an original sound and style known as soul-rock reggae\, and pushing each performance to the edge with their live improvisations and jams. Naturally\, the second album was recorded live. Live on 4/20 released in 2020.Each year Gorilla Finger has honored their biggest inspiration\, Bob Marley\, with a tribute show on his birthday – an annual event that has grown fast over the last 8 years\, and has been enjoyed by thousands. Joining them each year on saxophone is Glen DaCosta of the original Bob Marley & The Wailers. \nGorilla Finger has shared the stage with many of their other inspirations; Steel Pulse\, The Wailers\, Ziggy Marley\, Inner Circle\, and Yellowman to name a few. \nCurrently the band is working on their third studio album\, which will no doubt expand on their signature soul-rock reggae sound. \n

He has gripped the scene with ferocious conviction and an uncanny ambition worthy to be mentioned among the greats. He has gone from being a fan of reggae music to being a contributor to the art. Mighty Mystic came on the scene in 2006 after scoring his first international hit with the song “Riding on the Clouds.” However\, it wasn’t until the release of his first album “Wake up the World” (2010) that he became a household name. “Wake up the World” boasted several standouts\, such as “Revolution\,” “Riding on the Clouds\,” “Original Love\,” and “Slipped Away” with appearances from reggae icon Shaggy and roots rocker Lutan Fyah. DESCRIPTION:Get ready for seaside al fresco dining! What’s new for 2021? SurfSide’s team is busy constructing an all-new kitchen that will allow our culinary team to offer fresh\, new summer fare creating an even better lunch and dinner experience. Socially-distanced dining remains in effect with tables spaced 6 feet apart that will seat up to 6 guests. Due to current COVID-19 safety protocols\, we are tentatively planning to begin entertainment on Friday’s and Saturday’s after dining hours on the deck beginning in July. Stay tuned for May 2021 opening day info!
